| The
National Association of Oil Heat Service Managers held their
annual convention & trade show on May 23rd – 27th at
the Rhode Island Convention Center. The event was full of
activities, including seminars, a trade show, the Dave
Nelsen Scholarship Golf Tournament and the famous awards
dinner. Taco sponsored the Banquet Cocktail Party which
preceded the banquet.
Other events included The
5th Annual Care to Ride Event kicked off with the
Motorcycles at 11:00 a.m. bicyclers, walkers and runners at
noon on Monday. Participants enjoyed music by Rich Breeden,
Oil Equipment Mfg and snacks prior to departure. Oil Heat
Cares is a Not-for-Profit Foundation that assists needy
persons and organizations with the replacement of their oil
heating appliance. Funds are raised to purchase heating
equipment and NAOHSM (National Association of Oil Heating
Service Managers) Chapters and Members identify those within
their neighborhoods that need a temporary helping hand by
installing the equipment at no cost to the homeowner.

| The
annual theme Night Party was held on Wednesday evening, a
traditional New England Clambake dinner and entertainment by
the Way- Back Machine Band co-sponsored by Viessmann and
Grundfos. NAOHSM also delivered 1st class technical
education to anyone that wanted to learn and most of their
classes earned both NORA and NATE CEU’s. And they do it at
no cost - thanks to the education sponsors.
These individuals were
