The NHPMC held their 81st
Annual Convention & Trade Show at the Grappone Center in
Concord, NH. Offerings included continuing ed sessions for
licensed plumbers and gasfitters, and the Trade Show which
was open both Friday from 5-8pm and Saturday from
9am-1:30pm. The Plumbing License Renewal Seminar was
presented by Bob Ives and Bob Musil.
This was the 3-hour seminar
required for renewal of your plumbing license. This year's
class covered the differences between the 2009 IPC and IRC
codes, components of a commercial kitchen installation,
acceptable soap and chemical dispenser installations,
ceiling height requirements over fixtures, requirements for
air admittance valves, and more. We'll also address your
code questions.
Choosing & Installing
an On-Demand Water Heater was presented by Jeff A. Young
with J&K Sales Associates Technical Department. Jeff
discussed the proper application and installation of
on-demand water heaters. This open discussion included a
variety of topics and provided an opportunity for attendees
to ask questions and share their experiences with on-demand
water heaters.
