Richard Trethewey and Dave Walsh have announced the merger of two rep fi ms to create a new entity dedicated to offering world class heating and cooling products in New England. Richard Trethewey started RST Inc. in 1989 to pioneer and offer his customers many of the best hydronic heating lines in the market.  RST has grown because of the strong focus on quality products backed by a commitment to technical support and customer service. Dave Walsh started Thermal Sales in 2008 after an 18 year career at Weil-McLain, most recently serving as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.  Since leaving Weil-McLain, he also provided consulting and management services to both manufacturers and heating wholesalers. He started Thermal Sales because he recognized a changing market and wanted to bring to our industry the highest quality products available from both Europe and North America. He brings with him a wealth of experience in all phases of the heating industry.  The new company is called RST Thermal and will be headquartered at 372 University Avenue, Westwood, MA 02090. RST Thermal brings together two similar minded individuals who have spent their entire lives in the hydronic industry. Both men believe that the American hydronic market should provide end users with the very best products that provide efficiency and long service life. T he new line card of RST Thermal represents some of the best products available from North America and Europe at the best value. All products are supported by unmatched technical support and training and legendary customer service from the RST Thermal staff. For those of you who know them, Kevin Flynn and Ken Wiggin will continue in their roles as outside sales and tech support; Ken covering for Southern, Ma, the Cape and Islands, and Rhode Island, and Kevin covering for Eastern MA and as their commercial champion. Ryan Morse is their inside technical “rock star”. Mary Ellen Hickey remains as the operations manager, coordinating all of their efforts.  Richard’s two sons Ross and Evan Trethewey have joined the company. Evan will cover the Maine and New Hampshire sales territory, while Ross will provide engineering and design support.
