 Don
Ginan and Jay Mansdorf Receive Prestigious Awards in
Recognition of Their Performance.
ABCO Refrigeration is
committed to providing our customers with the premier
technical support in the industry. In illustration of this
commitment, it is only fitting that two of our employees,
Don Ginan, HVAC Technical Service Manager, and Jay Mansdorf,
HVAC Product and Training Manager received awards
recognizing the superior level of technical expertise and
customer commitment.
Don Ginan, who works out of
ABCO’s Hicksville branch, was selected by Luxaire to
receive the Distinguished Service Award in recognition of
his outstanding level of service support that he provides to
Luxaire customers. The award is based on individual
performance in: equipment application, technical support,
consumer relations, and technical training. The award is
presented to those who exhibit distinguished performance in
the combination of described categories during the last
year. This is the fourth consecutive year in which Don Ginan
has been recognized by Luxaire; he has set a standard that
remains unmatched within the industry.
 Each year Luxaire gives
awards to distributor service and training managers who
excel in the level of customer service that they provide to
the Luxaire brand. Selection is done based on nomination,
and then a final review process is conducted by the UPG
Technical Services Group to determine who is worthy of this

Jay Mansdorf, who works out
of ABCO’s Long Island City branch was officially
recognized by Mitsubishi Electric as an Authorized Trainer
in the Diamond Group. After completing a rigorous training
curriculum, Jay is now certified by Mitsubishi to teach both
the Mr. Slim 2 Day Service Course, and the City-Multi 3 Day
Course. After completing the challenging Diamond Group
Training, Jay joined an elite group of individuals who are
recognized to be extraordinarily proficient and capable
teachers by Mitsubishi. Furthermore, Jay is the only
non-Mitsubishi employee in the entire country to be
authorized to train contractors on both Mr. Slim and
City-Multi.
Jay conducts numerous
trainings each month at ABCO’s White Plains facility, the
only authorized Mitsubishi training center in the Northeast.
This state-of-the-art training facility allows ABCO to
ensure that our customers have every opportunity to learn
