| The
owners of B&F/Johnstone Supply, in New York, Michael and
Charles Solon, are proud to announce that they have merged
with the Johnstone Supply stores in Connecticut. These
stores are located in Stamford, Milford and Hartford
Connecticut. Michael and Charles are pleased that Rob
Dominice will continue his role as Operations Manager for
all three Connecticut branches.
Customers who are
accustomed to speaking with Patty Dominice on a regular
basis will not be disappointed either. She will continue her
role as well in the Stamford branch. This expansion project
is being spearheaded by Josh Solon, who is the third
generation of Solons to be involved in running the daily
operations at B&F/Johnstone Supply. Josh will be
spending the next several months at the Connecticut
locations.
The Solons will be
expanding the B&F tradition of superior customer
service, knowledgeable counter staff, tremendous inventory,
twenty four hour on-line shopping, national buying power,
fast daily delivery and convenient locations to the
Connecticut branches. With the assistance of Rob Dominice a
smooth transition is anticipated with little effect on day
to day business operations.

| In
1947 Herb Solon founded B&F Electric Motors which was
then a motor repair shop. To this day many of their
customers still know them by that name. In the early 1970’s
Herb’s sons Michael and Charles were now running the
business and B&F was beginning to grow into a major
HVAC/R parts and equipment supply house. In 1988 Michael and
Charles partnered with Johnstone Supply and are now known as
B&F/Johnstone Supply.
Last year they acquired the
American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning line and
have brought this premium product to the New York metro
