Recently, JB Industries
joined three Greater Boston locations of Johnstone
Supply to present a full service workshop for Vacuum Pumps. Bob
Forbes, of Gimper IV LLC, represents JB Products in the area and hosted the
events, while conducting inspections and providing a complete PANCAKE
BREAKFAST for all Johnstone customers over a three-day period. Bob
changed out the oil in over 100 vacuum pumps free of charge and also supplied
complete information on the proper operation and routine service of each
piece of equipment.
“The value of a properly operating vacuum pump is often underestimated”;
commented Bob Forbes as he worked with Johnstone customers. “It is
one of the most common “tools-of-the trade”; he added, “but also the one
that is not always kept up to the proper performance
level.”

Many of the participating HVAC technicians were
surprised at how often it
is appropriate to conduct the necessary service for their equipment. “The JB

Branches”; said Brad Esposito, Manager of the Woburn location,

These service and demonstration days were part of a series of Open Houses
conducted by the Woburn Group of Johnstone Supply in Danvers, Medford
and Woburn, over the Spring and Summer seasons, to better support
knowledge and training programs already in place through the Johnstone
University comprehensive education program which is available to customers
and employees, both in seminars and on-line through the network of
300-plus branches around the country.
