A call for presentations was
issued last month and the
response was overwhelming.
While the conference is seven
months away, the schedule
is filled. A few key sessions
include:
• Creating a green economy
is much of the focus of
the new administration.
A large percentage of the
stimulus dollars are being
made available for green
collar job training. The
2010 conference will provide
a session on a new
energy-auditing training
program developed for
the United States Department
of the Interior.
This session will provide
information on how to integrate
this energy-auditing
course it into attendees
training programs.
• There is a great deal
of confusion about the
Clean Air Act as it relates
to refrigerants. Mr. Julius
Banks, Team leader and
Program Manager for the
United States Environmental
Protection Agency
National Refrigerant Recycling
and Emissions
Reduction Program will
clarify many of the issues
pertaining to, Section 608
and the new refrigerants.
The conference will open
on Sunday March 14, 2010 (4
p.m.—6 p.m.) with registration,
industry exhibits, and complimentary
drinks sponsored by
Hampden Engineering. Please
