Dexter + Chaney Names Reich Vice President Of Business Development
Leads company’s efforts to create new market and product development opportunities for its Spectrum Construction Software
|
Dexter + Chaney has
named Mark Reich, a longtime
construction-software
sales and management executive,
to the new position
of vice president of business
development. Reich will focus
on creating new market
and product-development
opportunities for Dexter +
Chaney’s Spectrum® Construction
Software.
He’ll also
lead efforts to strengthen
the company’s relationships
with other software firms
that develop complementary
products for the construction
industry and will help
develop new distribution
channels for Spectrum.
Reich joins Dexter +
Chaney from Sage/Timberline
Software, where he
spent 24 years as a business
partner and company executive;
he most recently was
premier accounts program
director and senior industry
sales manager.
While at
Sage/Timberline, he developed
relationships with dozens
of construction software
companies as an element of
building Sage/Timberline’s
third-party sales program.
He also was heavily involved
in product development and
identifying new opportunities
for marketing Sage/Timberline
products.
Reich also has been an
owner/partner of three technology
software firms that
served construction-focused
industries and spent more
than seven years as a commercial
general contractor.
He is the author of a college
textbook, “Estimating
With Precision,” that addresses
the effective use
of construction-estimating
software, and is an expert on
Building Information Modeling
(BIM).
John Chaney, Dexter +
Chaney co-founder and
president, lauded Reich
for his ability to bring “new
ideas and innovation” to the
company’s business development
efforts.

one of the leading authorities
on computerized estimating
and project management,

Chaney grow.
