Moshen Davanipour Certified Master HVACR Educator
|
HVAC Excellence announces
that Moshen Davanipour
of Environmental
Technical Institute (ETI) in
Blue Island, Illinois has had
the title of Certified Master
HVACR Educator conferred
upon him.
Everyone is a benefactor
or victim of training!
American
companies will grow or
die due to the quality of training
their recruits receive.
The staff and administration
at ETI in Blue Island, IL understand
that their students
must be trained for the new
challenges in the twenty first
century. This can be accomplished
by making certain
their faculty continually
update their skills and adapt
to new technologies.
One of the fastest growing
trades in the United States
is the field of Heating, Ventilation,
Air Conditioning &
Refrigeration (HVACR).
In
order to make certain that
Environmental Technical
Institute is teaching at the
highest level possible, they
began the process of having
their HVACR educators pursue
educator credentialing.
Credentialing is a method
to verify that teachers are
capable of teaching the
competencies within their
curriculum.
On the surface this seems
fairly straight forward and
simple, students should be
confident that their teachers
are giving them the best
chance of success in their
future careers.
However,
career and technical education
(CTE) is not as simple
as teaching a single subject
such as math or English.
Students are taught English
from kindergarten through
their senior year in high
school, yet 70% of college
freshman take remedial
English courses.
In CTE programs such as;
Medical Lab Assistant, Electromechanical
Engineering
Technology, Environmental
Horticulture, Industrial Systems
Technology, Medical
Assisting, Paramedic Technology,
Pharmacy Technology,
as well as Heating and
Air Conditioning Technology,
persons are trained to
specialize in very specific
areas in which they will work.
Doctors have worked on the
same two models that have
not changed in millions of
years and they still do not
understand everything about
the human body. They specialize!
HVACR educators are required
to: Have years of field
experience prior to teaching,
meet their state’s requirements
for teaching, and be
proficient in every specialty
taught within their program.
In order to assure that teachers
have mastered the areas
in HVACR education, HVACR
educators pursue the status
of Certified Master HVACR
Educators (CMHE). These
exams are at a much higher
level than HVACR student
assessment or technician
certifications, they are in
fact terminal certifications.
A terminal certification certifies
a person has mastered
the subject matter needed
to teach the competencies
required by their students for
success in an ever changing
industry.
The CMHE exam is administered
through HVAC
Excellence (http://www/hvacexcellence.
org), a not for
profit agency that provides
credentialing programs for
the HVACR industry.

The title of CMHE is not
easily attained, as it demonstrates
that a person
is at the top of their field
in six specialty areas. To
earn the status of Certified
Master HVACR Educator,
an instructor must obtain
a passing score of 80% or
better on six area specific
HVAC Excellence Certified
Subject Matter Educator
(CSME) exams. Additionally,
the instructor must pass
the Capstone exam which
covers technical education
methodologies.
HVAC Excellence is proud
to announce that the title
of Certified Master HVACR
instructor (CMHE) has been
conferred upon Moshen
Davanipour an HVACR instructor
at Environmental
Technical Institute in Blue
Island, Illinois.
Since the programs inception,
hundreds of exams have
been administered, however
a select group of people have
successfully passed all of
the exams and have the title
CMHE conferred upon them.
This is a tremendous accomplishment
for Moshen Davanipour,
as earning the status
of CMHE is no easy feat.
With a select group of
persons having successfully
been granted the designation
of Certified Master HVACR
Educator, Environmental
Technical Institute in Blue
Island and Itasca has several
of them. ETI is a private
school with a commitment
to excellence in training.

professional development
(continuing education) for
their instructors. This enables

and meetings to keep current

have they have set a goal to

instructors at one school,
