Is the Training You Provide Relevant and Making Better
Technicians?
There is an old saying: HVACR
equipment is only as good as the quality of the installation.
Equally true is that the technicians installing/servicing
equipment are only as good as the training they receive. Quality
training begins with a quality instructor. We are all educators in
the HVACR industry, training students, customers or employees. We
need to make certain the training we provide is current, relevant
and correct.
We would like to invite you to
join us March 18-20, 2012 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas,
NV for the National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference. This
annual train the trainer event offers nearly 40 training sessions,
75 industry exhibits, roundtables and much more. Sessions are
conducted by government and industry leaders who want to make
certain the training you provide is valid and effective. Are you
providing training on smart system technologies?

This requires
technicians to transition from legacy 24Vac control wiring to
equipment with serial communications. While R-22 supplies will
diminish, the installed base of R-22 systems will not.
Technicians must be able to navigate the many refrigerant claims
to find appropriate solutions.
Variable
Refrigerant Volume (VRV) heating and cooling systems offer
individual control, use inverter “variable speed”
technology, lower operating cost and integrate smart control
technologies. Technicians must be trained to install, service
and diagnose VRV systems. As we transition from the electro
mechanical age into the digital age of sealed systems, being
clever no longer works. Training our technicians is
important.
Training our
trainers is equally if not more important. To help you keep
current on industry changes, we invite you to join us March
18-20, 2012 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas for the nation’s
largest conference dedicated exclusively to train the trainer
sessions for HVACR.
